KL Saracens is proud to announce that one of our very own, Jack Lee, has been awarded a scholarship to attend the Inside Running Academy in New Zealand.
Jack Lee tells us about how he is feeling about this great opportunity. ‘I am extremely excited about heading to New Zealand to attend the Inside Running Academy in January. It has been a dream of mine since first hearing about the academy in 2013. I feel very honoured to be awarded a scholarship and would like to thank Mike Rogers and the team at Inside Running for this opportunity.’
KL Saracens have had a relationship with the Inside Running Academy since 2012. We have had coaches from Inside Running Academy come to Malaysia to lead junior coaching clinics and coach education in 2012, 2014 and 2015. Over the past 4 years in excess of 40 KL Saracens players have attended the Inside Running Academy in Mount Maunganui and several have now gone on to really strong careers around Asia, New Zealand, Australia and Europe.
Mike Rogers, Inside Running Academy Director tells us about the importance of their relationship with KL Saracens. ‘Our relationship with KL Saracens is the foundation of the growth in our business throughout South East Asia. KL Saracens as a club have been a fantastic partner and we remain committed to assisting the club with their development programme. Being able to offer Jack Lee this scholarship highlights how important KL Saracens are and we look forward to our next coaching trip to KL!’
