7th July 2019 – KL Saracens 1st XV continued their unbeaten start to Liga KRS 2019 with a solid win over Sajoha Vikings in wet and slippery conditions at Poli Shah Alam. The young Saracens side put together a very impressive first-half performance in which they completely dominated the game, running in four unanswered tries and going into the break with a 28-0 lead. Vikings clearly got to grips with what they needed to put right at the half-time break and came out for the second half with a much greater sense of purpose. Vikings made much better use of their attacking ball to stretch the Saracens defence, scoring two unconverted tries out wide to narrow the gap and bring them back into the game. Despite the opposition’s resurgence, the KLS boys remained calm and improved their defensive organisation to stop the rot and keep the Vikings at bay. A fifth try for Saracens sealed the win with the score at full-time standing at 33-10.
